Relationships After Loss

Grieving After Loss, Relationships After Loss and Parenting After Loss

Many people are affected by a pregnancy or infant loss. The impact can be far and wide. Some of those people in your sphere may be comfortable expressing their sorrow to you, sharing their sad feelings, and may also know how to give support. That is not the case with everyone, however. You will also find yourself surprised at how some people react and you may feel disappointed by the way they relate to you.

You are Entitled to Your Grief

It is important to realize that you are entitled to your grief and your reactions. And you do not owe anyone an explanation for “why it’s taking so long,” or “why you don’t just get pregnant again.”

You will undoubtedly feel vulnerable in your relationships with others and as previously stated, in many respects, your life is transformed.
